PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a shape information transmission device for displaying the shape of a three-dimensional object as a three-dimensional image in different places to attain easy recognition, and indicates any point on the object from the different places. SOLUTION: The shape information transmission system comprises, at an operator side, a first computer 101, a projective display 102 connected to the first computer 101, a photographing device 103, an elasticity measuring device 104, and a temperature measuring device 105. The three-dimensional shape of an object 303 is measured at this operator side. The first computer 101 is connected to a second computer 201 via a network. The system further comprises, at an indicator side, the second computer 201, an image display 202 connected to the second computer 201, and a manipulating device 203. The system is configured such that an image 304 of the object is three-dimensionally displayed on the image display 202, and a point indication image 306 and a point indication trace 308 are displayed depending on manipulations of the manipulating device 203.
