<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicle hybrid system by which stability in braking is assured even when travelling on a slippery road surface. <P>SOLUTION: The system is provided with an engine clutch which conveys the rotation of an engine to a wheel, an exhaust brake 27 which closes the exhaust path of an engine 1, and a motor to which the rotation of the wheel is conveyed. There are also provided an exhaust brake demand time decision means which decides an exhaust brake requiring time that requires the braking force of the exhaust brake 27, and a vehicle control unit (control means) 20 which makes the motor 2 generate power in regenerative manner without activating the exhaust brake 27 when the exhaust brake is required. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
