<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a bill reception machine capable of receiving deposition of non-bundled bills, and of receiving envelope-enclosed bills even if there is irregularity in width of the individual envelope of the bills or unevenness in thickness of each envelope of the bills. <P>SOLUTION: This bill reception machine is provided with: a deposition method selection means for selecting the deposition of the non-bundled bills or the deposition of the envelope-enclosed bills; an deposition opening for receiving both the non-bundled bills and the envelope-enclosed bills; a stage formed at the deposition opening; a temporary hold part having a temporary hold plate for temporarily holding the non-bundled bills and the envelope-enclosed bills by storing them thereon; and a deposition cassette for housing both the non-bundled bills and the envelope-enclosed bills. When the non-bundled bills or the envelope-enclosed bills are returned, they are returned by moving the temporary hold plate to the deposition opening. When the settled non-bundled bills or envelope-enclosed bills are stored in the deposition cassette, they are stored by evacuating the temporary hold plate from a storing opening of the deposition cassette. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
