<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain the optimum control effect of a harmonic current controller in response to the operating condition of a motor. <P>SOLUTION: A motor control apparatus includes a fundamental harmonic current controller 2 for controlling the fundamental component of a motor current on a dq axis coordinate system which rotates in synchronism with the rotation or three-phase AC motor 14, a harmonic current controller 8 for controlling the harmonic component of the motor current on a dhqh axis coordinate system which rotates at a frequency of an integral multiple of the fundamental component frequency of the motor current, electric power converters 12a, 12b, 12c and 13 for computing a current-controlled voltage for controlling the motor current by summing the output of the fundamental harmonic current controller 2 and the output of the harmonic current controller 8 for generating a three-phase AC voltage in response to the current-controlled voltage and applying it to a motor 14, and a control effect modification circuit for modifying the control effect of the harmonic current controller 8 in response to the operating condition of the motor. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
