PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming apparatus having a composite function of facsimile equipment, a copying machine and a printer or the like for preventing a received facsimile document from being intermingled with other documents resulting in missing. SOLUTION: Upon the receipt of a facsimile document via a telephone line (LINE), the image forming apparatus does not immediately output the received facsimile data from a printer section 102, but once stores the data to an image storage memory 109. When a user operates a JOB list display switch, the image forming apparatus searches the image storage memory 109 and displays a list of facsimile data stored in the memory 109 on a touch panel or the like.
