PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an information device for vehicle, control method, control program and recording medium which enables the setting of reservation and the recording operation (picture recording or sound recording) accompanying reservation even when the engine is stopped with no user seated. SOLUTION: The information system 10 for vehicle is provided with a remaining battery measuring part 22 which measures the remaining amount of battery B, an external memory 19 which records the recording object information inputted by the outside accompanying the setting of reservation and an MPU 13 which supplies electric power from the battery B to the external memory 19 when the remaining amount of the battery B exceeds the prescribed reference remaining amount, starts the recording or continues the same.
