PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device related to an objective lens drive unit. SOLUTION: The unit is furnished with a lens holder 2 whereon the objective lens 1, tracking coils 7, 9 and focusing coils 6, 8 are mounted, a plurality of suspension wires 3a, 3b, 3c, 3d each one end of which is fixed to the above lens holder 2, magnets 11, 13 mounted on yokes 10, 12 which are arranged adjacently to the tracking coils 7, 9 and the focusing coils 6, 8, and a frame 14 for fixing the yokes 10, 12 while holding another ends of the respective suspension wires 3a, 3b, 3c, 3d, then the above yokes 10, 12 are constituted by laminating the punched and molded steel plates.
