摘要 <p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an improved method for switching streaming data bit streams. <P>SOLUTION: After decoding S12 entropy, a Lerr<SB>12</SB>and a movement vector are generated for a macro block. The Lerr<SB>12</SB>is dequantized using a Qs<SB>2</SB><SP>-1</SP>. A Kserr<SB>12</SB>is quantized using a Qs=Qs<SB>2</SB>to obtain a Lserr<SB>12</SB>. After movement compensation, forward DCT (discrete cosine transformation) transformation is conducted for a predicted macro block to obtain a Kpred<SB>1</SB>. The Kpred<SB>1</SB>is quantized by a Qs<SB>1</SB>. A Lpred<SB>1</SB>is dequantized by a Qs<SB>1</SB><SP>-1</SP>. A coefficient Kspred<SB>1</SB>after dequantizing is quantized by a Qs=Qs<SB>2</SB>to obtain a Lspred<SB>12</SB>. A Lrec<SB>2</SB>after rebuild-up is obtained from an equation (Lrec<SB>2</SB>=Lspred<SB>12</SB>+Lserr<SB>12</SB>). The Lrec<SB>2</SB>is dequantized using a Qs<SP>-1</SP>=Qs<SB>2</SB><SP>-1</SP>and inverse DCT transformation is conducted to obtain an image after rebuild-up. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO</p>
