PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a kettle for electromagnetic cooking which is hardly deformed and has durability even if it is used on an electromagnetic cooker having a high output at 200 V, for example, by making a magnetic material constituting the bottom plate part thick, can be sufficiently used, can be manufactured without requiring a welding requiring a labor, a time and a cost and is excellent in a practical use and a mass productivity; and in which a body circumferential part and the bottom plate part can be jointed in a simple processing, i.e., an edge winding as in conventional. SOLUTION: The kettle is constituted by jointing the body circumferential part 1 and the bottom plate part 2. In the kettle, a whole periphery edge of a thick plate 2 formed by the magnetic material having at least a thickness of 1.2 mm and subjected to an electromagnetic induction heating is subjected to a thin processing treatment to form a jointing thin flange part 2A on the whole periphery edge of the thick plate 2 becoming the bottom plate part 2. The jointing thin flange part 2A and a lower end edge 1A of the body circumferential part 1 are subjected to the edge winding processing to join them. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
