摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a low pressure mercury vapor discharge fluorescent lamp of a monolayered phosphor coating layer equivalent to a color-rendering index (CRI) of a conventional lamp using two phosphor layer coating processes, without a remarkable increase of a used rare earth element phosphor. SOLUTION: The fluorescent lamp (10) is provided with the coating (16) containing a bluish green color light-emitting halophosphate salt combined with the rare earth element such as a red light-emitting rare earth element phosphor and a green light-emitting rare earth element phosphor. It is replaced from one part or all of a blue light-emitting rare earth element phosphor usually used for a high CRI, and the bluish green color light-emitting halophosphate is used. This combined phosphor is mixed with a white light-emitting rare earth element phosphor preferably in about 1:3 ratio, and a preferable blend to form the monolayered coating layer for the lamp is obtained.
