摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a guide shaft height adjustment mechanism which is easy to assemble and can be manufactured at a low cost, and to provide a disk drive. SOLUTION: This guide shaft height adjustment mechanism 8 is provided on a plate-like chassis main body 43 and has an adjustment member 81 rotatably installed in the vicinity of an end part of a guide shaft 77 for guiding an optical pickup in the radial direction of an optical disk. The adjustment member 8 has an abutting surface 815 to be abutted on the guide shaft 77 from the opposite side to the chassis main body 43, the abutting surface 815 located along the circumferential direction of the adjustment member 81 and formed to be inclined with respect to the chassis main body 43, and the guide shaft 77 is in press-contact with the abutting surface 815 by the energization force of a coil spring 82. The adjustment member 81 is formed by performing outsert molding with respect to the chassis main body 43.
