PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a picture seal vending machine capable of improving the freedom and lighting effect of a lighting method and ensuring the safety in an imaging space to satisfy both a customer's request for the freedom or lighting effect of lighting and a facility executive officer's request for ensuring of safety opposed to the above request. SOLUTION: This picture seal vending method or device allows an imaging processing for imaging a subject in the imaging space by an imaging means to form an image, allows an editing processing for editing the image to be edited by an editing means to form an edited image, and outputs a prescribed image by an output means. This method or device comprises an openable and closable partitioning means for partitioning the imaging space from the outside, and a partitioning control means for controlling the opening operation or/and closing operation of the partitioning means.
