CONTENT RECEIVER, CONTENT DISTRIBUTION SYSTEM, AND METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To build up a content distribution system which can flexibly deal with revision of the transmission system of a wireless terminal.

SOLUTION: A content transmission apparatus 1 converts data from a content server 11 storing content into a wireless radio wave signal of a signal form wirelessly transmitted from a content receiver 2 to a wireless terminal 4 by using a wireless conversion section 12, allows an optical transmission section 13 to convert the resultant wireless radio wave signal into an optical signal and to transmit the optical signal to an optical fiber network 3. An optical reception section 21 of the content receiver 2 receives the optical signal from the optical fiber network 3, an optical radio wave conversion section 22 directly converts the received optical signal into the wireless radio wave signal, and a wireless transmission section 23 transmits the obtained wireless radio wave signal to the wireless terminal 4.
