PHOTOVOLTAIC POWER GENERATING SYSTEM

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a photovoltaic power generating system that prevents an input overcurrent and that is provided with a cost-reduced inverter.

SOLUTION: This photovoltaic power generating system is made of: a solar cell panel 1; a photovoltaic power conditioner 2 having an inverter 3 and a systematically interconnecting and protecting device 4; and a commercial power source 5. The inverter is provided with: an input voltage detecting circuit 10 that detects the voltage value of a solar cell; an output voltage detecting circuit 11 that detects an output voltage value of the inverter 3; an output current detecting circuit 12 that detects an output current value of the inverter; and an abnormality detecting means that detects an abnormality and stops the inverter when the input current value of the inverter is obtained by multiplying the voltage value from the output voltage detecting circuit 11 by the current value from the output current detecting circuit 12 before dividing the product by the voltage value of the input voltage detecting circuit 10, and is larger than a rated input current value of the inverter.
