PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hearing acuity simulator whereby an elderly person or a hearing impaired person perceives voice information by walking on a station or a road in a wearable state so as to physically have a simulated experience where a problem of a deteriorated hearing acuity exists. SOLUTION: The hearing acuity simulator 100 applies signal processing simulating a particular hearing acuity characteristics to an acoustic signal in response to external sound picked up by a microphone 11 provided to a hearing acuity simulation circuit section 1 and allows a speaker 2 supported by a sound shield section 101 of a structure for containing human ears and shading external sounds to output sound.
