PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To constitute rationally a system which stores image information obtained by photographing a plurality of regions needing monitoring, and synchronously regenerating the image information. SOLUTION: A plurality of photographing units T are connected with a monitoring unit W via a communication network N. When the monitoring unit T locates an object to be monitored, the monitoring unit W makes the plurality of photographing units T controlled by a previously set group perform photographing. Its image information is stored in a hard disk 111 of the photographing unit T. After the storage is started, the image information stored in the respective photographing units T is displayed simultaneously on a monitor 120 of the monitoring unit W by transmitting a demand information from the monitoring unit W.
