PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To check a progress in a horizontal direction of incident lights to prevent an entrance into other pixels, make clear images, and raise reproducibility of colors. SOLUTION: An interlayer insulating film 6 is formed on a light-receiving region 3 and a field insulating film 5. A shading film 7 is formed on the interlayer insulating film 6 to partition off a light-receiving window 15. A shading wall 11 is formed between the field insulating film 5 and the shading film 7, and encloses all regions of a space in an upward direction of the light- receiving region 3. A light incident through the shading film 7 is incident on the light-receiving region 3. A horizontal progress of the light reflected irregularly in the interlayer insulating film 6 is checked by the shading wall 11 and the shading film 7, and the light does not enter into the other pixels.
