PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electro-optic device stabilizing initial characteristics and life characteristics. SOLUTION: The electro-optic device formed by disposing on a substrate a light emitting device having a luminescent layer between a pair of electrodes is characterized in that recesses/projections are provided on the surface of the luminescent layer side of, at least, one of the pair of electrodes.
