PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a plasma display panel of a high light emitting brightness wherein occurrence of a cross talk by charged particles or the like is suppressed. SOLUTION: A display electrode 23 is constituted by opposedly arranging two substrates and by forming a plurality of discharge cells 14 between their substrates, and the display electrode 23 constituted of a first scanning electrode 20, a maintenance electrode 21, and a second scanning electrode 22 is formed so that one set is arranged at each discharge cell 14 on one side substrate.
