PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a DC brushless fan which is small in size and yet offers high air blasting capabilities, and allows the simplification of an assembling process therefor. SOLUTION: The DC brushless fan comprises a cylindrical magnet, a yoke having a cylindrical side face which holes the cylindrical magnet, a rotating shaft fixing in the center, and an impeller comprising a large number of vanes arranged on a concentric plane outside the yoke. At least more than one vane of the impeller is formed in contact with the cylindrical side face of the yoke or a face positioned between the yoke diameter and the center. Thus, the working area of the impeller is increased within the limited space in a casing for the enhancement of air blasting capabilities. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
