PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an information providing system capable of simply pairing a mobile information terminal of a user and a position discrimination terminal without the need for mutual entry of numbers and to provide an information management apparatus, an information providing method, and a recording medium for recording an information providing program. SOLUTION: The information providing system particularize an effective position discrimination terminal in one to one correspondence to the mobile information terminal at a particular place 1 for registering the mobile information terminal to make the mobile information terminal available, reads the information corresponding to the location of the particularized position discrimination terminal from a fixed information storage section 27 and transmits the information to the particularized mobile information terminal.
