PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To efficiently and smoothly use and make use of parking lot information service. SOLUTION: This parking lot information service system composed of a managing center 4 collecting, editing, and renewing parking lot information such as a distinguishing code of each parking lot 6, and availability of vacant spaces; a digital broadcasting station 2 connected to the managing center 4 by a high-seed circuit and periodically digital broadcasting the newest parking lot information including the distinguish code to the whole country through an HEO satellite 1; a terminal device 10 provided on an automobile 3, including a receiving device 23 receiving the parking lot information of the digital broadcasting, a memory 21 in which the received parking lot information is renewed and stored with a frequency of the broadcasting, and editing means editing the parking lot information stored in the memory 21 on the basis of predetermined conditioned and outputting that as indication data whenever the parking lot information is renewed, an indicating device 13 screen indicating the indication data, and an input device 14 setting the conditions, and mounted on a moving element.
