<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fuel cell in which starting time to power generation can be shortened, structure is simple, and production is easy. <P>SOLUTION: A cell 33 of the fuel cell formed by installing a solid electrolyte 33b and an oxygen side electrode 33c in order on the surface of a fuel side electrode 33a having a gas passage; and a gas tank 35 to which one end in the gas passing direction of the cell 33 and in which a plurality of cells 33 of the fuel cell are vertically installed are housed in the same chamber of a housing 31, and fuel gas passed through the fuel side electrode 33a of the cell 33 of the fuel cell from the gas tank 35; and oxygen-containing gas passed through between the cells 33 of the fuel cell are burned in the vicinity of the tip of the cells 33 of the fuel cell. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
