<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the breakage of a fuel cell element by installing a mechanism narrowing the distribution of temperature generating in the fuel cell element or a mechanism reducing thermal stress. <P>SOLUTION: In this fuel cell unit, the resistance of an element connecting conductive member in a high temperature region increasing the rising of the temperature by acceleration of power generating reaction is made higher than that in a low temperature region, and thereby, the distribution of temperature is narrowed and the breakage of the fuel cell element is suppressed. The conductive member for connecting a fuel cell is made flexible, and thereby, generation of thermal stress is relaxed and the breakage of the fuel cell element is suppressed. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
