<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a direct acting actuator by which a higher output is obtained with a smaller diameter, and a smaller number of components is required. <P>SOLUTION: Two sets of ultrasonic motors 1, 2 are disposed in face to face with each other on the same shaft. A feed screw mechanism 3 wherein the rotation of a threaded shaft 4 is locked is provided. Rotors 7 of both the ultrasonic motors 1, 2 are provided at the outer periphery of a nut 5 of the feed screw mechanism 3 so that the rotation of the rotors 7 is transmitted to the nut 5. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
