PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To resolve a problem in pipeline processing wherein there is waste in aspects of resources and processing speed when trying to realize a process for acquiring information regarding all picture elements by reading image data of all lines. SOLUTION: In the pipeline processing comprised by connecting a plurality of image processing means (image processing modules) such as an image inputting means 131, a histogram generating means 132 and a binarizing means 133 in a pipeline form, a function of re-initializing a state so that each process is redone from the top of an image is provided in each processing means 131, 132 and 133 to allow for rereading of image data of a processing object.
