PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an information output apparatus to be mounted on a vehicle capable of reproducing and outputting source information to a car audio system, navigation device and other information output device in vehicle without being provided with source information, such as video, music information, and a media reproduction device. SOLUTION: An information output apparatus in vehicle mounted on a vehicle and other mobile body for outputting audio and video, etc., comprises a reception device connected to a portable computer and provided with an interface unit for obtaining source data, such as audio data and video data, by receiving from the portable computer; an information processing device for performing data processing on the received source data in accordance with need, and obtaining reproducable data; and an output device for outputting reproduction data obtained by the data processing in the information processing device.
