<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To utilize bar codes by flexibly and simply distributing them to a portable telephone set. <P>SOLUTION: When receiving an allocation request including the number of the bar codes desired for use from a company terminal 5, this method for information processing performs: a step for extracting allocatable bar codes of that number and transmitting them to the company terminal 3; a step for receiving information about an issuing condition to the bar codes allocated to the company from the company terminal 5; and a step for issuing corresponding bar codes to a prescribed user according to the issuing condition to the bar codes allocated to the company and for transmitting data for displaying these part codes to the portable telephone set 9a. Thus, it is possible to distribute the discount bar codes of commodities by a lottery and to distribute the prescribed number of bar codes which serve as the participation certificates of an event, etc. A discounted price, etc., is registered to a commodity master 71, or information registered when applying for participation is registered to a registration DB 73 to be utilized for a discount sales, confirmation of event participation, etc. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
