<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cable connection method which improves the interface electric performance of a cold shrinkage type connection and does not damage the workability of a connection assembly and the easiness of quality control. <P>SOLUTION: In this cable connection method, which lets pass a rubber unit 10 having a cold shrinkage type rubber insulating tube 13 to the side of the cable sheath 9 of one hand of power cables 1 and 1 with their shield layers 7 constituted of shield wires 7A in advance and shifts the rubber unit 10 from the side of the above cable sheath 9 to the sides of both tiered strip ends 2 and 2 of the power cables 1 and 1 after connection of conductors and constricts the rubber insulating tube 13, shield wires 7A constituting the shield layers 7 exposed from both tiered strip parts 2 and 2 are turned up between a cable insulator 4 and the cable sheaths 9 so as to make turnups 7B before shifting the rubber unit 10 from the side of the above cable sheath 9 to the sides of both tiered strip ends 2 and 2 at latest, and they are put on the tiered strip ends 2 and 2. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
