The applicator consists of a container (1) with two side supports and a cradle (5) at the top for a tubular holder (3) for a paper tape roll (4). The container has a V-shaped base (9) with an inner axle (8) for the tape to pass under, a guide (11) at the side, and a regulator (12) at the top to control the thickness of the adhesive layer. A handle (18) makes the applicator easy to carry and position close to the place where the tape is to be applied.
