PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a building material for suppressing the reflection of an electric wave which has a performance for suppressing a reflected wave for avoiding communication troubles. SOLUTION: An electric wave reflection suppressing member 10 comprises a rectangular plate shaped electric wave matching layer 12, and a reflection layer 14 provided on the electric wave matching layer 12. The electric wave matching layer 12 comprises a first dielectric layer 1202, a second dielectric layer 1204, and a third dielectric layer 1206, laminated in this order. The second dielectric layer 1204 comprises a low dielectric material having a specific dielectric constant of substantially 1. For the first and third dielectric layers 1202, 1206 use is made of a calcium silicate plate and a gyprock being general building materials each having a higher specific dielectric constant than low dielectric constant materials. The reflection layer 14 is provided on the surface of the first dielectric layer 1202 located oppositely to the second dielectric layer 1204.
