PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To form an electrode body having high reliability by surely winding electrode plates. SOLUTION: This manufacturing method for the battery contains a process winding a positive plate 13, a negative plate 12, a separator 11 interposed between them while they are being stacked; a process housing an electrode body formed in the winding process into an outer container; and a process forming electrode terminals so as to be connected to the positive plate 13 and the negative plate 12 and sealing the outer container, and the winding process contains a process adhering the separators 11 themselves and/or the separator 11 and the positive plate 13 or the negative plate 12.
