PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To eliminate the inconvenience of entry of a destination when utilizing a shared facsimile machine by utilizing destination data stored in a mobile terminal as electronic data and to decrease a restriction of a mobile terminal so that the connection between the mobile terminal and the facsimile machine can immediately been opened even when the mobile terminal is connected to the facsimile machine. SOLUTION: The facsimile machine provided with: a public line interface connected to a public line, a mobile terminal interface connected to the mobile terminal such as a mobile phone or a PHS, and an operation section operated by an operator, includes: a terminal detection means for detecting whether or not the mobile terminal is connected to the mobile terminal interface; and a read means for reading data such as a telephone number and a mail address stored in the mobile terminal and displaying the data on an operation section when the terminal detection means detects the connection of the mobile terminal, and the facsimile machine is configured to make connection by the public line to a communication destination selected among the read data.
