PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a portable terminal device that can improve cosmetic design properties without losing attractiveness in the appearance of an earphone cap, and at the same time can easily open and close the earphone cap. SOLUTION: The portable terminal equipment has an earphone jack 5 provided inside an opening 11A that opens at one portion of a case, and the earphone cap 6 that blocks the opening 11A while being opened and closed freely to protect the earphone jack 5.
