PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an apparatus which allows a search request about a multimedia entity without obstructing other potential users of a reproducer. SOLUTION: An interface unit is provided which has a screen usable together with a multimedia contents reproducer (e.g. television) for searching multimedia contents under reproduction. The interface unit allows a user to navigate for selecting an entity the user wants to further search in the history of already reproduced multimedia entities. A question is automatically prepared and sent to a search engine. The provided search result is sent to the interface unit and the interface unit 1 displays it.
