PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a tilt aligning mechanism eliminating the need of aligning work in the case that inclination adjustment is not required and performing the inclination adjustment only in the case that the inclination adjustment is required although the number of components is reduced and a structure is simplified. SOLUTION: The tilt aligning mechanism is arranged in a lens barrel holding an optical system to be adjusted. The lens barrel comprises: a first lens frame 3 holding a first optical system 4; a first lens barrel frame 1 floating and supporting the first lens frame 3 in an optical axis direction through a spring 2; a rotary plate 6 in press contact with the first lens frame 3; a projection part 6a provided on a part of the surface of the rotary plate 6 facing the first lens frame 3; and the recessed part 3a of the first lens frame 3 housing the projection part 6a and constituting an inclination origin position. By the rotation of the rotary plate 6, the lens frame is inclined in any directions for the height of the projection part 6a of the rotary plate 6. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
