<p>A service type judgment unit (152) judges a service class from service information contained in a header of transmission data of each communication terminal apparatus. A maximum re-transmission count setting unit (153) sets the maximum re-transmission count according to an allowed delay time allowed for each service class. An MCS selection unit (154) decides a communication terminal apparatus for transmitting a packet according to a report value from each communication terminal apparatus and outputs information indicating a transmission destination apparatus to a transmission queue (156) by referencing the judgment result of a user judgment unit (151). Moreover, according to the maximum re-transmission count and the report value of the transmission destination apparatus, the MCS selection unit (154) selects an appropriate modulation method and coding ratio from an MCS selection table (155) and outputs the information indicating the selected modulation method and coding ratio to a multiplexing unit (157), an error correction coding unit (158), and a modulation unit (159). Thus, it is possible to decide an optimal combination of a modulation method and an error correction coding method according to the service class of the transmission packet.</p> |
