Prior to inserting into support (2), the optical fibre coil (1) surface is fitted with glued tensile element (4), whose thickness is compressed by the support during the coil insertion into support. A clamping ring (3) is used for axial fastening of inserted coil. Preferably, the tensile elements are arcuate over their wide side, corresponding to the inner contour of support. On their concave surface are glued ductile elements (9) of strip-shape in longitudinal direction of tensile elements.
