<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a planographic printing plate for an infrared laser for direct plate making excellent in scuffing resistance when used as the image forming layer of a planographic printing plate original plate, excellent in scratch resistance even in long-term storage and less liable to dissolution of an unexposed area even when a high activity developer is used, therefore having improved discrimination of an image and good development latitude. <P>SOLUTION: The planographic printing plate has a heat sensitive layer comprising (A) a water-insoluble and alkaline water-soluble resin, (B) a material which absorbs light and generates heat and (C) a compound having a group represented by a specified structure and a molecular weight of ≤3,000. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
