<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cell cycle control composition for controlling the progress of cell cycle of an organism and its using method; a safe and effective method and composition for reversibly inhibiting the progress of cell cycle of an organism; and a technique which can be used in combination with a curing method inhibiting the oncogenesis of an organism. <P>SOLUTION: A method for controlling the cell cycle progress in a cell which is deficient in functional retinoblastoma tumor suppressor protein is provided. In this method, a biologically active, p110RB carboxy-terminal fragment with 56 kDalton is introduced into a cell to be controlled during the period of cell cycle; and while the viability of the cell is maintained, the cell cycle progress of the cell is changed. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO</p> |
