<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a dielectric ceramic composition having superior reduction resistance at firing, excellent temperature dependence of capacitance after firing, and an enhanced accelerated life of insulation resistance. <P>SOLUTION: The dielectric ceramic composition comprises a main component containing barium titanate, a fourth subcomponent containing an oxide of R1 (R1 is at least one kind selected from a first element group composed of rare earth elements having an effective ionic radius of less than 108 pm when having a coordination number of nine), a fifth subcomponent containing an oxide of R2 (R2 is at least one kind selected from a second element group composed of rare earth elements having an effective ionic radius of 108-113 pm when having a coordination number of nine). <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
