The portion of the sheet enclosed by the inner edge of the groove of the second sheet is removed to form a perforated plate, the locket-half shell is soldered to the perforated sheet, and the part of the second sheet extending beyond the outer edge of the groove of the sheet after the groove is stamped on is then separated. |
