PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an automatic generation method of a single-axis operation capable of preventing omission of machining by preventing registration omission of data, and of reducing key-in. SOLUTION: In this method, hole data are automatically collected for every machining surface from a display screen of a three-dimensional product model with hole information by color incorporated, the registered holes in the data are allowed to be discriminated from non-registered holes, and thus the hole data of the entire machining surface are registered in a file by individually assigning an attribute name. A required hole machining condition from a registration database is automatically and manually added to the hole data, holes having the same shape are found out from the file and linked to one another, and circular-arc data of the holes are written in the file as well.
