PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To miniaturize a bearing device and improve impact resistance by improving axial rigidity and moment rigidity without changing total height of the device and a bearing center distance. SOLUTION: A ratio of radial rigidity Kr and the axial rigidity Ka is set as 2.0≥Kr/Ka≥0.9, and a contact angleαof two pieces of ball bearings 10 is set as 26°≤α≤37°, on the bearing device for a swing arm furnished with a housing 3 supported free to rotate through two pieces of the ball bearings 10 on a fixed shaft 1.
