PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a structure for underground water storage tank having a low storage space occupation ratio and a sufficient mechanical strength. SOLUTION: A concrete block 1, 1A is formed of a box-shaped precast concrete block having a large opening part 5 and a small opening part on side surfaces, which is formed by mutually connecting the corner parts 9 of a square top plate 2 and a bottom plate 3 in parallel through columnar parts 4, the top plate and the bottom plate 3 having protruding surface part 7 and peripheral parts 8A and 8B. A plurality of such concrete blocks 1 is longitudinally and laterally connected at intervals corresponding to the length and width of the protruding surface part 7. The concrete blocks 1A are stacked on the connected concrete blocks A so that the four angle parts 9a-9d of the bottom plates 3 of the second layer concrete blocks 1A are superposed on the angle parts 9A-9D of the top plates 2 of the first layer concrete blocks 1, respectively.
