CONDUCTIVE PARTICULATE AND METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING THE SAME

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a novel technique for easily manufacturing conductive particulates at a low cost with decreased environmental problems. SOLUTION: The method for manufacturing the conductive particulates joined with metal to nonconductive carrier particulates includes a process step of having the ions of the metal catch on a resin surface by immersing the carrier particulates consisting of the porous resin having a cation exchange group into an aqueous solution of the salt of the desired metal at room temperature to cause an ion exchange reaction and a process step of reducing the metal ions by immersing the resin carrier particulates on which the metal ions are caught into the aqueous solution containing a reducing agent at room temperature. The conductive particulates joined with the metal to the carrier particulates consisting of the non-conductive porous resin are thereby obtained. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
