<p>Multilayer sheet metal structures used in electronics the chemical industry and in nuclear and space technology are explosion welded by aligning several base plates horizontally at a specific distance from each other. They have their welding faces turned towards each other. In the intervening spaces between the base plates there are at least two welding plates which are positioned to accommodate explosive charges, of which those in any one row at least can be simultaneously ignited.</p> |
