PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To use easily fractionally recoverable construction-related waste materials which are not substantially impregnated with poisonous metals, such as arsenic and chrome, and to provide carbonized matter having the adsorption performance equivalent to or higher than that of active carbon.
SOLUTION: The carbonized matter is manufactured by carbonizing a used wooden concrete molding flask W deposited with concrete C on its surface and is so used that the metal ions M in the ash content of the used concrete molding flask W attains M≥5 mg, preferably M≥10 mg, more preferably M≥20 mg. The used concrete molding flask is crushed and chipped to a size of 5 to 10 mm and these chips are carbonized at a carbonization temperature T of 700°C≤T≤1,000°C, more preferably 750°C≤T≤950°C in an ordinary carbonization kiln for black coal or an industrial carbonization furnace.
COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
