MARKING TOOL, MEASUREMENT CHECKING TOOL, AND TIGHTENING METHOD FOR FLARELESS TYPE JOINT

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a marking tool capable of quantitatively grasping and correcting a tightening amount of a ball head lock nut.

SOLUTION: The marking tool has a hole part 12 for inserting thereinto a tube 5 to be connected by a flareless type joint, a window part 14 for checking the contact of the tip of the tube 5 to the base 13 of the hole part 12. A slit 16 for making a mark on a certain point on the outer face of the tube 5 is formed to be located outside the ball head lock nut so that at least the outer end of the mark is located outside the nut when the nut is tightened at the lower limit of the proper tightening amount. The tightening amount of the ball head lock nut is able to be grasped by checking the relative positions of the mark to the ball head lock nut.
