<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a stored toner from excessively being discharged when a toner container is loaded at a specified position and has its toner discharge opening 17 opened. <P>SOLUTION: The toner container 100 is equipped with: a container 10 which has a bottom wall 11 where the toner discharge opening 17 is arranged; a conveying mechanism 20 which conveys the toner in the container 10 to the toner discharge opening 17; and a shutter member 19 mounted on the bottom wall 11 so that the toner discharge opening 17 can freely be opened and closed. The conveying mechanism 20 is equipped with a rotary shaft 22 and a plate- shaped piece 28 arranged on the rotary shaft 22. The plate-shaped piece 28 is positioned where the toner discharge opening 17 is covered from above at a specified rotational angle position of the rotary shaft 22 and when the toner discharge opening 17 is opened while the plate-shaped piece 28 is positioned at a closure position, the discharge of the toner is limited. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
